As set forth in the study, the Project Team consists of five groups. Click on the links below for specific information on each group and their team members:

Two priorities for the Management Team were hiring a Facilitation Team and the establishment of the Advisory Panel. The Facilitation Team supports the Management Team and has the key role of assembling, facilitating, and documenting Advisory Panel activities and project process. The Advisory Panel represents a structured stakeholder/participatory approach intended to build trust, clarify the values and goals, and incorporate local knowledge. The Advisory Panel consists of stakeholders and experts who can offer local knowledge and expertise on issues pertinent to the assessment, such as local infrastructure, relevant industries, water ways and their navigation, weather, and habitats. A Facilitation Team coordinates the Advisory Panel. The Risk Analysis Team performs the risk analysis under the direction of the Management Team. The Management Team is working with the National Academy of Science Transportation Research Board to establish a Peer Review Panel.
