Management Team Members

The Management Team consists of those agencies responsible for allocating the funds for the risk assessment, as well as for ensuring the work is carried out in an effective and useful way. The Management Team consists of representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard, State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). NFWF is the entity responsible for administering the funds dedicated to paying for the risk assessment.
The Aleutian Island Risk Assessment (AIRA) Management Team consists of the following six members (click here for contact information):
NATIONAL FISH & WILDLIFE FOUNDATION
Krystyna U. Wolniakowski : Krystyna is the Director of the Western Partnership Office located in Portland, Oregon.
Jay Wright : Jay is the Account Manager, Impact Directed Environmental Accounts (IDEA), for NFWF's office in Washington, DC.
ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
Gary Folley : Gary is the manager of the ADEC's Central Alaska Response Team and the pre-designated State On-Scene Coordinator for Central Alaska. He is based in Soldotna, Alaska.
UNITED STATES COAST GUARD
CDR James Robertson : Commander Robertson is the Chief, Inspections/Investigations Branch, District Seventeen in Juneau, Alaska.
LCDR Gary Koehler : Lieutenant Commander Koehler is in the Inspections/Investigation Branch, District Seventeen in Juneau, Alaska.
LT Robert Fields : Lieutenant Fields is in the Inspections/Investigation Branch, District Seventeen in Juneau, Alaska.
LT Michael R. Franklin: Lieutenant Franklin will be transitioning from the Kenai Detachment to the Inspections/Investigation Branch, District Seventeen in Juneau, Alaska in July 2010.
